چکیده
Aeolian sand widely exists in the desert of western China. The reinforcement aeolian is considerable significance to construction transmission lines desert. In order study impact different cement contents and moisture content on performance cement-stabilized sand, 18 types samples with water were prepared. confined unconfined compression tests conducted TSZ series automatic triaxial instrument. microscopic observation methods macroscopic strength adopted understand mechanism. results test manifest that both affect stress-strain behavior sand. effect can be estimated by degree hydration reaction. Microscopic show as increases, pores microstructure decrease, some crystalline substances appear. calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H), which one products, measured X-ray diffraction method. indicate solidification related C-S-H percentage. For 3% content, percentage goes up first increase then gradually decreases at 6%. When 5% 7%, it found production gel increases content.

Permeability Characteristics of Compacted and Stabilized Clay with Cement, Peat Ash and Silica Sand
The present paper investigates the influence of stabilization with cement, peat ash, and silica sand on permeability coefficient (kv) of compacted clay, using a novel approach to stabilize the clay with peat ash as a supplementary material of cement in the compacted and stabilized soil. In order to assess the mentioned influence, test specimens of both untreated and stabilized soil have been te...
